About the event
Join philosopher and author Dr Robert Rowland Smith on the couch as he takes on your questions about life.
Three audience members will be invited to the stage to ask a question that has been bugging them. It might be about love, money, relationships, purpose or spirituality. Or it might be about roundabouts, dental floss, chicken wings or boxing. No question is too big, too small or too strange.
With no script and no prepared answers, Robert will follow each question wherever it leads, drawing on philosophy, psychology, art, literature and science along the way.
Part conversation, part philosophical adventure, Philosophy Slam is an invitation to think more deeply about the ordinary, the extraordinary and the wonderfully puzzling business of being human.
